When one cushion or bear isn’t quite enough — when there are drawers full of clothes you can’t bring yourself to give away — a memory blanket gathers them into a single keepsake you can wrap around yourself.

Each blanket is pieced together by hand from the garments you choose, so the patterns, colours and textures you remember are all there together. It becomes something to curl up under on the hard evenings, and something to pass down in time.

How many garments do I need?

A blanket uses several pieces, and just how many depends on the size you’d like and the garments themselves. There’s no need to work it out yourself — send me a list or a few photos of what you have, and I’ll tell you honestly what it will make.

Can I combine clothes from more than one person?

Yes, and many people do. A blanket can hold a father’s shirts and a mother’s cardigans side by side, or bring together pieces from across a whole family. Tell me whose clothes you have and we’ll plan it gently together.

What size can it be?
